Imagine you are Maurice Clarett for a minute (come on at least try)

You bucked the system and beat the big bad NFL.

Now it's time to show the NFL what you got at a workout in front of a bunch of NFL scouts and GMs. Time to put up or shut up cuz you done woke up a sleeping giant.

You come in at 237 lbs, with a spare tire around your waist and you decide not to even show your wares at the workout.

Ok...now stop being Maurice Clarett. Now you are a defensive tackle or outside linebacker in the NFL and you are the first team to face Mr. Big Bad Clarett.

He takes the handoff, and the entire defense swarms on him and breaks his ass in one fell swoop.

Career over. Go sit down Mr. Clarett. You were never made for the NFL.

NFL players around the league are licking their chops in anticipation of crushing this kid into the turf.

Unless it's a cheap shot I don't see Clarett getting hit any different than any other back. I do see his lack of play and undisiplined approach to the upcoming draft as a open book to a lazy back, that will shorten his carrer either by getting into trouble off the field or just not cutting it on the field. The guy really doesn't have one full year of college under his belt and I personally hope he fails just cause I don't think he approached the system in the right manor. Just an opinion.

The guy only went up against the NFL because he lost against the NCAAssholes...

Speaking of A-------, he's a major league one...Any GM whose seen him as an 18 year old barking at coach's as he ripped off his helmet, or backtalking Tressel has got to see that, as well as his run ins with the law, as well as his known cavorting with a known gambler, as well as his injuries, as well as his lack of breakaway speed, as well as his lack of ability to read a defense for zone runs...It all adds up...

    Mr. Irrelevant, anyone?

They won't hit him any harder than they hit any other back, they will just want him tackled. He won't even get hit harder in the pro's then the hardest hit he took in college probably, just a lot more of those since they will have more super studs to hit him.

He'll be expecting it.....and he knows everyone is expecting him to be unsuccessful in the NFL. So I bet when he gets hit hard hes going to try and suck it up as much as he can.

Everyone gets an opinion right? He won't last a full season in the NFL if the head coach, who is dumb enough to take him, plays him more than one quarter per game. If he can last more than 2 seasons physically he may turn out to be an average player. He did not develope enough as a college player to make it full time in the big leagues.

unless its a cheap shot...i think he'll be like any other back.

players like Ray Lewis (heh, is there many?) dont take plays off and treat every TB as equals. thats very nice of him.

he will have a bullseye on his chest and people will be gunning for him though.

so, my best advice for him is to stay in shape
