Ugh. Our offense has taken a major shot with Mauck and Clayton leaving. If Randall(please no) starts next year we'll be stuck with an Auburn offense for the season. I wish Matt well, but I'll be damned if I think the man has a chance at going higher than the 6th round.

Florida didn't have a problem coming to LSU with a freshman QB

    2) Won 2 SEC Championships
    3) Won 1 National Championship

    and now...

You must be crazy LSUFan636, Russell and Flynn are much more talented both throwing and running the ball, its just a matter of knowing the offense / making the right decisions. The offense around either one of them will be much better than Mauck had this year IMO, except for the O-Line. The defense will carry us again, but the SECW should be a breeze. An Eli-less Ole Miss team will not be good, Arkansas is without Cobbs, Andrews, Bua, etc. (and Matt Jones is considering leaving), and Auburn is Auburn. We'll be in Atlanta next year.

Congratulations to Matt Mauck on the opportunity to play in the NFL. Many of us might think that he has little chance of doing so, but there have been surprises before. Did anyone think that David Woodley had the talent to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, much less start a Super Bowl?

Matt Mauck gave everything he had to LSU and will forever be the quarterback that led the Tigers to the National Championship. Thanks for the memories, Matt, and best wishes for much success.

Personally, I think the guy can become the next Tom Brady!
Good luck Matt. Thanks for the memories. It'll be nice to have some Tiger pub in Jasper, In.
    God bless ya!

I agree, if one of the freshman step up, we will be in Atlanta. If its MR, we wont be in Atlanta. To sporadic and too many key games early on to find out that he aint the QB.

The guy's a winner and he'll be a winner at the next level. Gotta admit that it has stunned me that he's gonna test the draft, but he's a smart guy and has the talent to make it.

    Thanks Matt for everything!
