Marquise Hill comment on Sportscenter

I am sure someone has said this and everyone has seen it, but it was one of my all time favorite comments.

Marquise Hill after the game quote: "people are going to start respecting LSU, and if they don't, we are going to hit them in the mouth"

Gotta love that monster!

Well I for one am glad he didn't follow that up by calling himself a soldier.

 

Hope Hill returns to do just that next year. If he and Spears stay for one more, we'll have the best bookends in the country (not that we already don't).

 

Yeah, one more by Spears and Hill would give Washington and Pittman a chance to grow into the position.

 

Didn't he also say: "It was our goal to corrupt the Heisman Trophy winner!".

I'm not sure I completely understand what he meant, but it sounds great !!

 

I think he meant disrupt, but he can say whatever he wants. We can change disrupt to corrupt for that guy.

 

This is the best thing Hill said. From a SI.com article.

"Those guys [USC], if they have a quarterback and a kicker who can walk and chew gum at the same time, they get on the cover of Sports Illustrated," said LSU defensive end Marquise Hill. "That's why when I watch football, I put it on mute."

 

Kinda crude, but there's a lot of truth in that statement.
