I saw that... He had great blocks on both plays. The first time they ran to the left but the rb slipped. So they lined MS up again in the backfield and they ran to the right. The Eagles had no chance of stopping it. Did you see how excited he was after the play???!!!

All I know is if I was on defense I would not want a 300 lb. Marcus Spears charging at me! Reminds me of the fridge imagine if they handed the ball of to him! (Scary thoughts)

Being in Dallas, I get to see all of the Cowboys games (and heaven help me, I'm becoming a fan--how can I NOT with Marcus and Bradie starting on D). I was so proud to see both of them saying "Louisiana State University" last night as they were introduced. I don't even think Miami had two starters on the same team. But I digress...

Spears is in on practically all goalline situations, and he's usually quite effective. I'd love to see them actually hand it off to him at some point, but he's usually just producing a massive hole for the RB.

people that big generally do not carry the ball that well.. the ball is so small in their arms that it can pop lose easy... I'd like to see him go out for a warren sapp type pass...

Spears seemed to handle that interception from White in the '03 MNC without too much trouble. Its all a matter of how much tape is on their hands. DLineman tend to tape up like a couple of clubs.
