I know some of you hate the Mannings from our previous discussions on the board. I root for them in the NFL because I'm a football fan and I hope they do well just like all "well known" QB's such as sons of former players. I know you say they don't like LSU or want anything to do with us but this is America and I see nothing wrong with that. I don't want anything to do with USuck and some other college's either so big deal. THE BOTTOMLINE is we got our greatest revenge last year beating Eli and his team in our game. Also deep down inside Eli probably wishes he would've went to LSU or at least had that thought once, he could've went out with a NC his senior year at LSU. I'm not trying to take anything away from Matt our anyone else but just put yourself in Eli's shoes for a minute thinking about how "awesome" we were last year. So sit back and enjoy the NFL, I can't wait for the day Payton vs Eli happens. btw, Was Payton QB at Tenn when they won the NC a few years back? I'm thinking he graduated a year or two before then so he wasn't.
Sourdough, I'm pretty much with you. When watching the NFL, I pull for all ex-Tigers, but I pretty much give everyone else a walk. I don't care where they went to school. If they have the talent, I look for their character. Are they humble, honest, good leadership even a little cocky, good citizens; then they are ok with me. Do drugs, beat your wife or girlfriend, take cheap shots, fail to live up to lifes responsibilities, I can't pull for that player.
