1. Not sure why anyone is surprised by this. We're so scared of muslims these days that we are doing everything we can to accommodate them. Hell, New York is opening an arabic-speaking public school this fall. AKA madrassa.
  2. Really wouldn't be hard to include all of it, it's short compared to the Bible. From Adoration, 32:21

We will inflict on them the lighter torment of this world before the greater torment of the world to come, so that they may perchance return to the right path. And who is more wicked than the man who pays no heed to the revelations of his Lord when is his reminded of them? We will surely take vengeance on the guilty.

It's beyond faith and beyond compromise. FWIW, there is no reference to the word "infidel" in the index. I think that's a modern term.
  3. Tell me this is a joke. Please provide a source.

As for these charges, it's outrageous that they were even filed, but I don't think they will stick. If they do, God (or whatver you believe in) help us all.
  4. i dont see the concern of opening an arab speaking school. that really has nothing to do with anything. if they don;t want to learn in english, too bad for them.
  5. There have always been pockets of non-english public schools in this country. The fact that some kid is getting taught math in Arabic doesn't effect me in the least.
  6. right. and i realize it is more likely a little islamic indoctrination could slip in to the curriculum there, but yunno, you cant indict them on that until it happens.
  7. According to this link, indoctrination is in the works. It does seem more of an opinion piece than anything, though...

"The Arab American Family Support Center [AAFSC] and it's director Lena Al Husseini are also on the KGIA planning committee. Al Husseini intentionally made the misrepresentation that the school is "going to be exactly like all the schools in the city - same curriculum."

However, the links on the AAFSC's website tell a different story.

Under the heading "Islam" a link to the Council on Islamic Education [CIE] opens to a downloadable syllabus for a course titled "Hirabah-Not Jihad" that begins:

"The purpose of this activity is to acquaint students with the concept of jihad. The lesson discusses the distinction between jihad as a principle of social justice, and as a military institution entrusted to authorities in society. Students learn about the categories of illegitimate violence in society, namely rebellion and terrorism, brigandage and other forms of mayhem against the public. Students should be able to:

    # define jihad in its literal and applied meanings, as a principle and as an institution
    # describe legitimate conduct of war according to Islamic law
    # differentiate between rebellion, (baghy), and terrorism, (hirabah), according to Muslim jurists
    # explain how Muslim jurists characterize hirabah, and describe the basis for their judgment that it is a serious, punishable criminal act ."

Americans and NYC taxpayers will no doubt be reassured to know that one of their new public schools will be instructing Arab and Muslim students in the nuances of jihad and under what circumstances it can be justified and practiced. Other radical Islamist links on the AAFSC website include:

    # The Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC) is an ally of CAIR and aims at implementing shari'a via legal Islamism by promoting election of Muslims to public office and governmental positions.

    # The Council for the Study of Islam and Democracy [CSID] is a Saudi funded faux moderate group who have had board members named in government indictments for Al Qaeda funding.

The CSID is a stealth Islamist group which claims that the shari'a and the caliphate are compatible with democracy. "
  8. I'm glad to see that some are awakening to the destruction of their country from within.
The politicians are to scared or afraid to deal with anything controversial so they attack each other while not getting anything else done in the process.
Six years after 9/11 and this country is asleep once again!
  9. Agreed, if that's indeed what they're teaching. How do you know their not preaching jihad in between readin, writin, and rithmatic?
