That's true...Spurrier was like that guy who is always a total a$$hole to women, yet consistently has a really hot girlfriend.
Recruits and their parents have commented on being impressed by Saban's businesslike attitude. They get so many coaches trying to flatter them with compliments and acting fatherly that it comes off as phoney attempts to sell them by being likeable. Nick gets right down to talking football business. I think it helps him find the student-of the-game he's after, as well.
