Names like "bland offense" and other cover up names have been tossed about on the forum ... BUT WE GOTZ TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS ... LSU FB's PASSING ATTACK IS "VERTICALLY CHALLENGED" There must be acceptable reasons for this ... but I don't understand any. 1. Junior (JR) has field vision the likes of Mr. Magoo and cannot connect on long (25+ yds) TD strikes ... for you youngsters, Magoo was a blind ole MF like Sabanfan that wore cokebottle glasses. Answer: If this is true ... play Flynn a few series each game ... he seems to have a knack for scoring on long TD passes ... what would it hurt to give the backup a few series ... good coaching, IMO 2. LSU coaching is afraid Junior will throw picks if they open up the vertical game ... now this seems the more likely cause Answer: Enroll the LSU coaching staff in an Atchafalaya Wilderness "Find your Own Fortitude" (testicles) program and learn to deal with fear. 3. LSU loves to sit all-world receivers on the bench ... the kind that could transfer because "THEY ARE GETTING SICK OF THIS **** JUST LIKE I AM" Answer: :hihi: No, this surely isn't the case. 4. Jimbeaux Fisher has been transformed by years of Saban control into an "OFFENSIVE PLAYCALLING EUNICH" ... with ball control on the brain, job security on his mind (he's gotta please Les now) and an inability to transform himself into AN INDIVIDUAL, CREATIVE OC ... desperately needed by this team at this time of year ... Jimbeaux, if you're reading this ... and I know you read the I-net forums ... GROW A PAIR & LIGHT UP THE SKIES WITH A VERTICAL GAME, SON! Life is too short! Screw the interceptions ... **** happens. Answer: Yeah, this is the Ticket!
So, you wouldn't mind losing games as long as we were scoring more points? Because that would happen if we open up the offense & JR starts throwing interceptions. No wonder you wanted Mike Leach as coach... He would have 3 losses right now IMO. If ball control wins games, I am all for it. Next year, I think you'll see the offense open up more - just like it did some this year after last season. It's a progress with these young players. Of course we'd all like them to be amazing right away, but it doesn't usually work that way. You haven't payed close enough attention if you think JaMarcus Russell can't connect on a long TD pass. And Flynn suddenly has a knack for it after performing good against a hopeless North Texas? And perhaps you noticed early in the season how our "all-world" receivers couldn't catch the ball - could that have made a difference?
You and "your ilk" cannot see the forest for the trees ... By focusing on a vertical passing game, the running game becomes devastating with our OL and RBs ... JIMBEAUX SAID WHAT WOULD HAPPEN THIS YEAR ABOUT THE OFFENSIVE ATTACK???? ... HE LIED THROUGH HIS ****ING TEETH ABOUT "OPENING IT UP" ... THAT'S A FACT, YOU BLIND MILES HOMER! How'd that ball control do against Tennessee? Play USC for a NC ... sit your ass down in a game of musical chairs, Miles Homeboy ... the music has stopped ... and you ain't got a seat ... Dismisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssed!
i hate saying this but ramah is right. damn that sounds bad. Jimbo straight up lied or les has a lot more input into the gameplan then jinbo. I think that is what it is. Because before we never lined up in the I-form tight formation and threw out of it. we shall see though, we shall see.
It's all WRONG ... But it's alright, you see ... because LSU is winning and is 8-1 :hihi: Champions never let up ... and I ain't seen this team quit yet! These boys are ****ing Champs, I tell you! Their leadership has been measured ... and is WANTING! Jimbeaux "the eunich" Fisher is incapable of opening up the LSU playbook and going with more vertical passing routes. Let's just grind 'em down and nut out each win by a close margin ... even though we are capable of stomping mudholes in teams ... Les likes the sure thing ... I imagine Les has Jimbeaux dressing up for him after every close win ... Jimbeaux wearing a "kitty-kat" suit (crotchless one) and playing the nutless eunich for Ole King Less ... God, I hope someone sends them a copy of this! I'd say it to their faces or on the radio ... but I never get through on Wednesdays. Crawfish? Got your ears on ... It's time to WHACK THESE BASTIDS WITH ANOTHER WEDNESDAY NIGHT AMBUSH ... after a close win over Ole Miss! THE QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED BY SOMEONE WITH SOME BALLS FROM TIGERFORUMS.COM: COACH, I HAVE 2 RELATED QUESTIONS: 1. WHY HAS LSU FAILED TO OPEN UP THE OFFENSE THIS YEAR AS PROMISED IN PRESEASON, ESPECIALLY THE VERTICAL PASSING ATTACK? 2. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE LSU CAN RUN THE TABLE WITHOUT A SERIOUS VERTICAL PASSING ATTACK IN THE POST SEASON? I & SEVERAL THOUSAND OTHER SERIOUS LSU FANS SEE THIS AS AN LSU WEAKNESS AND A COACHING FAILURE THAT YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR. CALLERS NEED TO HIDE & HEEL THIS BASTARD MILES TO THE BARN DOOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT! I know these cockskrs read my posts ... Dandy Don does ... see his LSU offense "sputtering" article ... Don's a good friend of mine and is very welcome to print and takeoff anything I throw down here ... His website is my homepage and has been for the past 6 years ... I WANT THESE LSU COACHES TO KNOW THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE ... IT'S TIME TO REVOLT ... VERTICAL PASSING GAME AND MORE SCORING ... OR ELSE!!!. P.S. - ELSE MEANS ATTACKS IN THE MEDIA, BOMBARDMENT & CRITICISM EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNTIL WE START SEEING THE "MAGIC". OPEN IT UP AS PROMISED, MILES/FISHER ... AND UNTIL YOU DO ... YOU ARE SORRY COACHES!
Is it really? Wow, and to think this whole time I thought a "revolt" of the "fans" was only called for when the playcalling was costing us games. Interesting...
Ever heard of the polls ... Miami = 3, Penn St = 4 ... both one-loss teams ... You're an intelligent guy, judging from most of your posts ... When is the last time either of these two teams won a :crystal: ? And LSU :crystal: Who should be ranked #3 with one loss? Who shouldn't even have a loss and be 8-0 looking at the Rose Bowl? LSU! ... and you ****ing know it! Settle for less ... and you're a fool.
:hihi: I hear ya, but unfortunately it won't make a hill of beans difference this year, unless the unthinkable happens (Fresno State beating USC.) The rest of the rankings are just a bunch of drivel, IMO. The way Miami has been playing (and who they beat) probably rightfully puts them at #3. I wouldn't worry too much about PSU, because they're going down tomorrow to Michigan State. :thumb: If you're not #1 or #2, you're playing for a conference championship. And right now, LSU is, though obviously the margin for error hasn't been all that much!!!
Good strategy you got there "COACH." have your sophomore qb launch passes downfield to receivers who have been dropping little 10-15 yard passes, just launch the ball downfield with the chance of it getting intercepted its not like your not turning the ball over enough anyways right? yeah maybe it was the plan for the coaches to open up the play book a little more, but plans change. especially when your players aren't executing. coaching is one thing executing is another. JR is a sophmore and a couple sophomore WR's that are still developing, the coaches can't help it if they're players don't execute and when they can't execute you have to change some things. i would love to see lsu air it out too cause i think they can. its les miles first year for crying out loud maybe if the players executed plays better caught balls turned it over less maybe the coaching staff wouldn't hesitate to take more chances. everyone who is bashing the coaching staff saying this and that have to realize it's his first year if they start suckiing it up next year bash him all you want, and its not like the man is losing here come on now. and how come ya'll don't look at the last 4 games mainly against a really good auburn and alabama team we didn't turn it over once and cut down on penalties don't hear anybody saying anything bout that.
They aren't rookies anymore! All have had their SEC Baptism in fire! And ... like the little train that could I know they CAN
