1. IMO, we'd take 2 DLine if one of them is Brandon Thompson. My guess is we'd rather Liuget because we know what we'd be getting as opposed to Lavar Edwards who would be more of a project with huge upside.
  2. Yeah, this is a nagging question in my mind as well. The better versed posters here don't seem concerned. On paper, there seems to be a lot of depth there. I guess the only real concern is getting stiff-armed by the better prospects in the 2009 class. That would make 3 straight years without a high-profile RB signed. I'm guessing that would be unlikely, but I think that idea is what is gnawing in the deepest football recesses of my purple and gold brain...
  3. If a JUCO player doesn't 'shirt in JUCO, he can come in after 2 years in Junior College with 3 years to play 2.
  4. not really.

Charles Scott = faster and stronger than Hester.
  5. This I am in total agreement with.

Thompson, Liuget, Edwards, Kuli, probably in that order of preference for LSU.
  6. Ridley will be the new Hester. And we recruited him last year, although everyone seems to think we didn't recruit an RB last year.

Scott is a straight up runner, total opposite of the nose in the dirt Hester. Speed difference between Scott and Hester is negligible.
  7. Brandon Thompson committed to Clemson on Thursday.
  8. No he didn't. Read the article or search his name on Google news.

He visited Clemson last weekend but unless he is a super silent commit he is not a Clemson Tiger as of now.

  9. ...yes he did. lol

    according to Rivals, anyway.
