LSU's game strategy vs Tech

    Saban said in his radio show that 'ball controll goes a long way in defending a potent offense.' (Read Brett's summary of Saban's show). I think LSU is going to run,run,run and eat up the clock against Tech. When Tech does get the ball, they're going to see a lot of pressure. I don't think LSU is going to throw the ball except to move the chains.

    That's the best thing to do against a highpower offense.

    Ball control like we had in the SC game is the way to play this one. When you can have a 10-minute drive, the other offense gets pretty cooled off, and our defense can re-charge.

    Not to mention taking a toll on the Tech defense where depth is not a luxery they have.

    A good running game against Tech will be like a passing game. I have a feeling we will be running all over them. 400 yards rushing is not out of reach.

    We need to survive the initial onslaught from tech and not give them any reason they can stay with us. If their fans is any indication of the team, they will come in believing they can win!
