This. Our defense was infinitely better than AUs, but our offense SUUUCCKKKED. Really a dumb question for a first post. Should've come with something better.

Auburns #60 total defense divided by LSU #12 equals 5.0 You are right, LSU was only 5 times as good as Auburn.
I already posted elsewhere, but: You can't use rankings for this. There are way to many schools between LSU and Auburn that wouldn't be there if they played tougher teams (UCF, BC, Temple, N. Ill, Miami of OH, Army, NC State, Buffalo, Air Force, etc...) LSU 307 ypg Auburn 368 ypg. 59 ypg difference in NOT 10x better, or 5X or 2x....
