The number one team (us) gets an A-.....#2 & #3 gets an A. What's up with that?

 

Looking back at the classes, the author revaluates them based on how they performed vs. how they were originally ranked… All hail Zook!

 

Pretty good article, I don't think anyone could argue that that 03 class was one of the best to ever hit LSU....that and the 04 class I believe?

Either way, this year's class is shaping up quite nicely as well. Let's hope we can sway the kid's who remain on the fence and blow those classes out of the water.

If we land Chad and Joe it will be a major score for LSU, and a sign that we are securely planted among the nation's elite college football programs.

Only one problem with this article, Vincent came in for 2003 but was actually a 2002 signee. Couldn't get in during 2002. He was a carry over.

 

Actually, the 2001 class is pretty widely-regarded as Saban's best class ever. And most experts are projecting this years class to be better than that one.
