Why does TCU stay so high with no losses and very weak Schedule and LSU goes down with 1 loss and FSU and Tenn with 2 losses stay ahead of us. Sorry but the logic has to go both ways not just 1 way I mean we are getting hurt by who we played but in this poll TCU is not. ITS all BULL SH
Not a damned thing jeff! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/abcsports/BCSRankings http://cfrc.com (link for BCS Computer polls, Colley, etc) The link above is to last week's BCS poll, shows LSU #6 in CM or the Colley Matrix. So, we drop a spot from #7 to a #9 FSU who vaults over us and moves up to #6. Moved from #9 past us. BS. Perfect example of a BULLSHITTTTTTTTTT Computer poll. I hope you all know that we have no prayer for Sugar unless idiot polls like this get us to an average ranking of 3 or less. On the flip side, we have one poll that likes LSU (Massey link). http://www.mratings.com/rate/cf-bcs.htm LSU is now #3. Note that OSU is ahead of LSU in the Massey poll. LSU should make #2 Final Projection (Massey) if we run the table. This final projection is where we need to be an average of 3 or better to make the Sugar Bowl. Other Polls: Anderson & Hester-----LSU stays at #5 behind OK, TCU, OSU, USC Sagarin, Wolfe, NYT and Billingsley are out to screw us and we aren't in the Top 5. The formula only allows one poll to be deleted from the four above. Our final projection in the four above polls is #4-#5. We'll never get past USC. OSU & USC BOTH HAVE TO LOSE. We'll whip Ole Miss, Ark, TN ... and it won't matter.
That is why they use multiple computer polls in factoring out the BCS. You can't put any stock into these pre-final season BCS numbers. The system is to be used at the end of the season. Any of the teams remaining can lose before the season ends, throwing the polls out of whack. This latest BCS ranking doesn't mean anything in December when the final rankings actually come out. There are a lot football games left to be played, many featuring teams with no chance at a bowl much less the BCS, but those games will have great impact on the final BCS rankings.
