No doubt about it, LSU will have the #1 ranking in one or probably both human polls. As stupid as most pollsters are, its gonna be tough for them to ignore what happened tonight and all season long, then award USC the top rank just because they lost earlier in the season. GEAUX TIGERS! I've never been prouder of my Tigers, not even when they beat Notre Dame in the Independence Bowl.
well, I was hoping OU would win so we'd go to the sugar as an underdog, but I'm not sure we can slip under anyone's radar anymore...nonetheless, give me the national championship that I've been waiting on for all of my life!
Aha, now you're seeing my perspective on who was worthy of #2 after Ohio State lost ... either way ... the AP/ESPN final vote will be close ... and we'll never know what a blowout win over Ole Miss would have done for LSU ... let's pray Boise State wins and this goofy BCS "LSU RULE" Bullshit scenario doesn't screw LSU. Maybe LSU takes #1 AP/ESPN ... just maybe ... and finishes #1 BCS in the last poll. Boise State is winning now 14-7 and must win to Seal the Deal if LSU takes 6 of 7 computers ... screwed by none other than NYT. What a ride!
