there is a rumor going around that LSU and Washington St. are close to reaching an agreement for a home and home series and Washington St. will come here to start the 2004 season.
looks like rumors...but I could only imagine us pounding the best team USC played this year. PAC 10 sucks
They are afraid of us already quote: In my opinion, it would be a bad, bad matchup for us. LSU is loaded right now and we are going to be a work in progress next September
I also think this would be a great game but I'm not so sure we would be able to pound them. What I mean by that is our offense seems to struggle the 1st game if not the 1st couple weeks of the season. One trend that I see under Nick and Jimbo is thier teams finish strong and peak at the right time. Its not how you start, its how you finish. Which has never been more true than this year and 2001.
One thing's for certain...none of the ESPN wonks will be able to rap on our strength of schedule next year if we do play them.
Pullman, Wa in '05, cool road trip. However, word coming from them is the return trip would be played in Seattle and not in Pullman which is where WSU is located, other side of the state. Hope it works out...2 time defending NATIONAL CHAMPIONS travel west once again, this time to the state of WASHINGTON.
