Hey yall my name is Shanna and i have lived in Georgia for almost 14 years of the 18 years of my life. anyway my dad graduated from LSU and ever since he got me started into football, which is my favorite sport, i have been the ultimate LSU fan. Anyway, i think the LSU Geargia game will be the best game of the season. and i cant wait and i wish i had tickets. i think LSU is goin to beet GA's ass, not because LSU is the best college and football team but also because i hat Georgia with a passion. i would like you fead back on what you think the stats are goin to be for the game? -shanna-
I hope we win as well! Come to the game and try to get tickets outside the gates. It's a day game and on TV, you might get lucky and get some good tickets.
Welcome to TigerForums.com, LSUcajunSJ!!!! I also hope that LSU kicks Georgia's butt up and down the field and back again. :lsug: :helmet: :geaux: :lsug: :helmet: :geaux:
Should be a great game. I am not even thinking about making a prediction though as UGA could come in 3-0, 2-1, or 1-2.
Shanna, put an ad in the Tigerforums Ticket Office section. Surely there is somebody who reads it who will have tickets for sale.
Come on Southlink, quit your sandbagging. You know damn well that the Dawgs are going to be a good team even if their not as good as last year. You must be hoping that the LSU players read this forum and will feel sorry for Georgia and let up on them.
Dude, have you seen our injuries or suspensions? I am sure you can ask anyone from SECF that I am usually one cocky basterd no matter what so its telling you something when I am this down. Our D and OL are depleted. 4th strings and on are having to step in as regulars.
I used to think that the Geogia game would be our toughest game - well tied with Auburn. After all of Georgia's injuries and off field problems and the fact that we get them early in the season, I have became alot more confident. I still think that by no means is this a guaranteed win, I just like our chances a whole lot better now.
So according to you Georgia is looking at 4-8, 5-7 or a 7-5 season at best and they will be lucky to beat Vanderbilt. How many games are the guys who sold their rings on eBay suspended for? Surely they will all be in the lineup when the Dawgs play LSU, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee. Do you see Georgia losing to all 4 plus Clemson? Do you see Georgia losing to Alabama? Despite the fact that you lost some great O linemen to the NFL Georgia is a team that always seems to come up with great ones to replace the great ones much like Tennessee always comes up with the great wide receivers, LSU comes up with the great linebackers and Florida used to always be able to replace great quarterbacks, or at least they did under Visor Boy Spurrier. You have good quarterbacks and receivers and Mark Richt is well on his way as establishing himself as one of the top coaches in the SEC. I don't see the Dawgs beating Auburn or Tennessee but I wouldn't count them out for an upset in either game. The Georgia game will be LSUs first conference game and the first game against a big time team after 2 rent-a-wins and a road game against a weak Arizona team while the Dawgs will have the experience of having faced Clemson and a South Carolina team that could be better than predicted. No matter whether its a 3-0 LSU against a 3-0 Georgia or a 3-0 LSU against a 2-1 Georgia it will be a huge game for both teams and the Dawgs will have tested themselves against better competition than the Tigers at that point of the season. If it was still Rohan throwing to LSU's receivers I would say that the Tigers would make mincemeat out of the Georgia secondary but how Mauck continues his developement as a passer remains to be seen. Addai should be great but with basically untested backups at the running back position he will have to carry the load that Toe and DD shared last year unless Shyrone Carey, Alley Broussard or Barrington Edwards developes star quality early in the season. I don't know anything about the Georgia D Line but they will be facing the best O Line in college football. LSU's D Line will have to be fantastic both in rushing the passer and playing the run until Mayes developes his game at middle linebacker and the secondary comes together as a cohesive unit. As good as the D Line is they won't sack the QB or stuff the run on every single play so the sooner the rest of the defense gets it together the better.
