I feel like Thomas is LSU's now. In his interview after the visit he talked about how great all the LSU players were.

See the quote below, from TigerRag.
If Thomas does indeed become a Tiger, he'll be one of my favorite recruits in the class.

I really like what I've seen in him as well. He reminds me a ton of Richard Murphy.

Versitile guys like this are awesome to have.

Just think, Scott, Williams, Murphy, Holliday and now possibly Thomas all being versatile backs. Pretty exciting to think that no matter what we have in the backfield the defense has no clue as to whether we will pass or run.

The only thing we need to worry about is whether his parents make the decision for him or if he goes where his heart lies. His parents want him close to home. I think from that article, he infers that his heart is with LSU.

parso, i was reading the same article, and what made me feel like there is a good chance thomas will pick lsu, is that if he had such wonderful feelings about other players and a school, that if it was fsu that he was talking about, he would be reaffirming his (what was a soft verbal) commit to them now.

unless of course that is just my purple and gold glasses blurring my vision again.

Not just with this recruit but if anyone hasnt noticed it sure sounds like our existing players are also great recruiters! They seem to be metnioned more and more when reading comments from recruits. Im not sure Ive ever read so many references about how good our players make them feel and how hospitable they are. We really have the mojo working now.

Text messaging, email, social networking sites. These kids can form their own mini-networks completely outside of formal groups like schools or even family. I'm not surprised at all that the coaches have leveraged that reality. Very smart.
