Common sense tells me this will be a war with 2 good defenses with LSU having the advantage. I think the the 'secret' lies into forcing UGA's hand on offense. Not being able to run and knowing exactly where Greene will be....actually forcing him to be where you want is key. Nick Saban did this last year and handcuffed UGA the entire SECCG. Apply heat early and often once the run fails. maybe we will see that new cover 2 disguise he and belichick worked on right after the sugar bowl. Either way, pressure from up the gut and from the safeties will happen locking the immobile greene into quick outs or slants or he will be sacked....again.

After last week, I get the feeling the difference could be CW and TD....seems CW is finally healthy and coming into his own and I can see him making some huge plays changing this game around. Some corners play at a higher level against certain QB's and CW licks his chops when he sees Greene across the line of scrimmage. He seems to have his number and I think it continues. TD is due a pick so let's allow him one or two big plays as well.

LSU's offense will depend on our O-Line opening up the holes for Alley so our 2 headed monster at QB can settle in. Look for the bubble screen to finally be a factor this week. Its nothing but an extended handoff that should loosen up the UGA defense. I think that's the gameplan NS will stick to that's very similar to last year. These 2 teams aren't much different from a yr ago, just different names with similar talent yet neither team has shown much of it.

No doubt UGA will be sky-high and I still believe LSU will need to survive the first 10 minutes of that emotional onslaught....possibly using it against them. Force them into 3rd and long and turnover situations and making the big plays. No more drops on sure picks, no more broken tackles.

    LSU-24 UGA-20.

for some reason I see it more high scoring than common sense allows.

I appreciate your wishes, but in all honesty, you should be pulling for Jawja......I know I'll be pulling for Tennessee :) but good luck anyways! At least health wise.

I'm interested in seeing how much UGA tries to exploit the delayed back or tightend over the middle play. We still haven't defended that very well since the 1st mtg last yr. Kinda shocked we don't see it every game.

Maybe it is attempted and we do defend better than I think making my above comment moot.

I think many of you all will be impressed with freshman Danny Ware. I don't have anything to back his performance to be (hopefully up) but I look at it like Vincent. He is a game breaker who needs an OL to block. If Ware can get that, I expect him to do quite well.

Granted, I dont see another Vincent-SECCG-type performance from him but a solid one would help

yeah its overblown because when the coverage is blown its obvious to anyone. However, they have done a better job of LB coverage not committing as soon.

I think special teams is the biggest variable for us. If we are solid, we have a great chance of winning this game.

As you know, Ott's show talked alot this week about how the first 10 minutes plays out being a big factor. I couldn't agree more. You know UGA is going to be pissing vinegar to start the game. Survivie that and let the rest play out.

To your special teams I'll raise you turnovers. The fumbles last week were disturbing.

And last, being far removed from the mind set of a college age student i truly wonder how the UGA players mindset would be if right off the bat LSU gets to Green ala last yr. Do they think "Here we go again" or what?
