LSU and Arkansas play for the boot--the trophy shaped like AR and LA and doesn't LSU and Tulane play for a trophy--the battle rag or something like that, but it's lost. What about the rest of the SEC? Doesn't UT and UK play for the Beer Barrell? Ole Miss and Miss St play for the egg. There are a lot in the big ten. Minnesota and Wisconsin: Paul Bunyan Axe--it's pretty big. Minnesota and Iowa: Floyd of Rosedale--a bronze pig Minnesota and Michigan: the little brown jug Michigan and Michigan State: the Paul Bunyan Trophy Michigan State and Indiana: the old brass spittoon Michigan State and Penn State: the landgrant trophy Indiana and Purdue: I think they play for the old oaken bucket--not sure exactly. Michigan State and Notre Dame:the megaphone trophy Minnesota and Penn State: the Governor's Victory Bell
they have to play for something in the Big 10....Lord knows they are not playing for a BCS championship the last few years :hihi:
phantom pass interference gave them the championship...the refs screwed the Hurricanes that year. let them play for their Brown Jug and Spittoons....
LSU and Tulane play for a "rag", which is actually a flag, or it was. Notre Dame plays for several trophies against USC, Michigan State. UTEP plays for a shovel against somebody. If you have NCAA 2005 you can see and play for all the trophies out there.
You mean OU unlocks their trophy case, hauls that thing to the stadium and then drives it right back to Norman the same night...
sure do, so folks like AD and White can wear it after they beat Texas. you can count on that happening as sure as the sun rises.
