    Playing on rugs ain't football.

Prime example? The 'Aints. That ain't football. It's a bunch of overpaid, overhyped spoiled brats whose sole purpose is to ruin my life. Of course, that applies even if they played on grass.

    ....

Ole Miss is trying to save some money. It could be in our favor playing on artifical turf. our speed at WR will kill 'em.

They have got some speed at WR too though. Our WR's are better, of course, but they do have some talent at that position

Speakin of the Aints. It totally makes sense for them to install the new turf in the Dome. It probably costs 1-2 million to install but surely they would be protecting their investments (players) much better than playing on concrete covered by a thin carpet.

they are planning on it with the renovations but upgrading with the turf that is out right now is not in their favor b/c they need turf that can easily be rolled up and stored so the superdome can be used for other things beside the saints
so as soon as the good stuff comes out which they can use they plan on redoing the turf

just trying to get any little advantage they can get

Ole Miss can't compete the other teams in the SEC so they are trying to get any little advantage they can. They probably figure that the visting team won't be used to playing on turf like they will be. BUT.... player make a difference not the type of field you play on.:lsug: :geaux:

Wasn't the Arkansas field at War Memorial Stadium made of the new softer turf?
