The SEC has gone back and reviewed LSU's last possession in the ASU game and determined that the JR to ED pass was uncatchable. Therefore, ASU wins. Sorry for the delay in this announcement.

PS- the Tyrone Prothro catch behind the defenders helmet is also under review for "catchability." An announcement is expected sometime tomorrow, but it doesn't look good for Bama.

And don't forget the Blue Grass Miracle. That TD pass wasn't only uncatchable it was inconceivable.

OMG, all of the times the ball was tipped- it's uncatchable! The refs just had an aneurism.

And best of all- Doug Flutie's last second pass against Miami has been ruled as ineligible under the new pass interference laws. No, the ball really was caught without being tipped, but it was still interference. We'll destroy a great man and player's legacy so that the rules are followed. Unless we don't want to.

Also under the new rules, if you intercept it (i.e. Jesse Daniels) then it's pass interference, but if you tip it then it's not.

Sadly you're right. The "pick up the flag" pass sure looked a lot more catchable than the Bluegrass miracle.
