I am curious as to how we would rate the different aspects of this ball team, the way as they stand now:huh:

Hot as a firecracker! A young team that developed as the year went on. Clutch two out hitting was nonexistant earlier in the year. So was consistant relief pitching. The great thing is it all came together at the same time. The schedule worked in this young team's favor at just the right time also. The confidence that the Tigers are playing with has rejuvenated the fan base. PM has done a great job assembling the talent in just his 2nd year! Could the Tiger s be this year's cinderella ball club and make it to Omaha?:geaux:

On Wednesday I would have said short on pitching, but with the way Ryan Byrd and Anthony Ranaudo pitched this weekend I feel a lot better.

It seems the team that could not win the close ones 5 weeks ago now has a refuse to lose ultra confident attitude. I like where this thing is headed.

I hope they are playing Sat since I just bought first base tickets to the Saturday games.

I agree - the one thing that impresses me most about this team is their tenacity during the last half of the season. When games were close or when they were behind, they keep finding ways to win and to overcome errors.
I’ve also found the younger players and the freshmen to be impressive. I may be wrong, but I don’t recall this level of contribution by freshmen and first year LSU players under Smoke.

I can think of one... Matt Liuzza. Aside from him I would agree. Maybe there is something to bringing in the number one recruiting class,

Amazing Run to go from the cellar to the top 10. If they win (or place well) int he SEC could they get a super regional?
