Has anyone else noticed the parallels between LSU now and Tennessee few years ago? First, our game with Ole Miss reminds me of UT's game with Arkansas the year they won the NC. It was towards the end of the season on national TV and Ark was trying to gain respect while the Vols were trying to get to the Fiesta bowl. The game came down to a final drive where Ark's QB cost them the game with a fumble (much like Eli getting tripped). Also, think of the roles of LSU and Tenn when we played them for the SEC championship in 2001. They were the team one win away from the national championship and we were the team that was supposed to give them a tune-up. The roles would be completely reversed if we played them this year and I know they would love to pay us back.
Fortunately, that's where the alleged parallel ends ... we will put a hurtin' on Tennessee. It would be good to see Junior and Lulu again though: http://home.att.net/~luluandjunior/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html
