If the Saints play their home games in Tiger Stadium this year, they will be playing in front of a stadium which can hold 92,000 people. There is no way they will fill all of those seats. So, what if the Saints give LSU students and the Golden Band from Tigerland a discounted rate on tickets, and pack the stadium in? It would be just like an LSU game with all the loud, crazy fans...can you imagine when Atlanta comes to town, if Michael Vick can't hear the snap count and has to burn a timeout because of the noise level of the LSU student section? That would be incredible. What if the Saints play great because of this and play playoff games in Tiger Stadium - it would be possibly the greatest sports story ever told. I can see Nick Saban coming in to Tiger Stadium with his Dolphins team. I mean this would be an unprecedented story in sports history. Far fetched, but fun to think about.
Yeah, a real rockin stadium is the only thing that the NFL is missing. It's a shame fans just don't seem to care as much about the NFL as college football.

I mean I'm just thinking out loud here, but is this really possible? It would be incredible if the state of Louisiana could pull together this way and sort of rally around an "LSU Saints" team in a story book type of season that would lift the spirits of the state and give everyone something to cheer about. Something positive, something to make people smile during a very tough time. It's so far fetched, but it's just crazy that it could happen.
My Friend, who is a huge Saints fan, talked me into going in half with him on a pair of season tickets this year. This is the first time I have ever had them. Hell the last Saints game I went to, Hershall Walker ran all over them while playing for the Eagles. He was old then. I am actually more excited now than I was before about these tickets. I'll take Tiger Stadium over The dome any day.
Another thing to think about..... What is the highest attendence ever for an NFL game??? A sellout in TS would have to at least be close to breaking the number.
