How do you know how many 3rd place votes OSU got? By my count, LSU gained a few votes in both polls. If there is a place that shows the breakdown how many votes of each place each team got, I'd love to see it.

However, it's great that we stayed put despite OSU beating Purdue. I think with 3 games to OSU's one, even if they beat Michigan, we should stay ahead of them in the human polls when it's all said and done.

i just multiplied 62 or 65 (# of voters) by 23 (third place votes) and compared that number to the # of votes LSU had....OSU gained some ground compared to last week so I just assume they received some 3rd place votes

Yeah, that's not the most accurate number though. For instance, LSU may have 1 2nd place vote and 1 4th place vote, but it would look like 2 3rd place votes.
