I was calling this from the beginning.. with a new qb who can scramble you really only need a few passing plays.. you just need them set so the routes can be changed... You really only need to have 2 guys for the qb to look at (though more might be out in routes)... two checks, then if no ones is open, the qb is to take off or throw the ball away.. preferably take off...
Impossible. According to all the armchair coaches they always open up the playbook when Flynn comes in the game.
Flynn simply seems to be better at finding an open man... plus the LBs have to stay shorter in their zone coverage to watch for a scramble..
I love Flynn, but you cannot overlook the great running game and OL play he got in the game. In the other game he was amazing in, it was vs. a worn out minor league team. Do I think he can be an all SEC QB? Yes. Do I think he should be crowned savior after 1 win and start? No. I would still like to see him be given a chance to do it though.
I don't really give a damn why.....we hung 40 points on one of the top defenses in the nation. I'm no genius but I think I wouldn't try to fix that unless it breaks. :geauxtige
with russell there has to be more passing options because of his lack of mobility.... makes it alot harder on him...
werd thanks for stating the obvious. if it worked so well with Flynn, maybe they should run it by Jamarcus, cause he aint all that. Print that in the Shreveport rag. end of story.
EXACTLY! maybe one of the options is playing a different QB? gee wally, golly Beav.... :yelwink2: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:
