    Since the SEC split into East and West, LSU vs Auburn has quickly become one of the most intense rivalries in the South. I would list AU's top 3 as follows:

    1. Alabama (the Iron Bowl)
    2. Georgia (oldest rivalry in the South)
    3. LSU

    Who are LSU's three biggest rivals?

    Speaking as a life-long Tiger fan born in 1980, within my lifetime I would see it as:

    1. Auburn
    2. Florida
    3. Alabama
    4. Arkansas
    5. Ole Miss


    In the greater scheme of things it would probably be more like this:

    1. Tulane
    2. Ole Miss
    3. Alabama
    4. Auburn
    5. ?

    When I was a student in the early 70's the fraternity section would chant "Go to hell, Ole Miss, go to hell," after every game. That put the Rebels at the top of the radar screen as far as I am concerned.

    That GO TO HELL OL MISS,GO TO HELL! Is one chant that is forever burnt into my mind from when I was a kid, the Ol Miss/LSU game was the greatest show on earth when they came to LSU to play, The whole campus would be decked out and all the frats & Sororities would have huge signs out, I believe there was even a contest between them about who could come up with the most"spirit". Oh and they used to play Ol Miss on LSU's homecoming;) :) :) :) :) What a game!!!!!

    Ole Miss was once our biggest rival, but that honor currently goes to Auburn, IMO. I would list LSU's big three currently as:

    1) Auburn
    2) Arkansas
    3) Ole Miss/Alabama/Florida (tie)

    Of course, Nick Saban would say it's whichever team we play next!

    I'll be there Saturday for the game against the team that Coach Saban and I both agree is our biggest rival!

    I need four tickets! Anyone got any extras?
