Re: LSU at "home" in the Dome?

because tulane plays against east carolina at 2 pm so the dome would have to make a quick turn around for a second game.

oops. i didnt read the article first. thats in there.

but also mentions in the article the tulane time might have to be moved to 1 pm kickoff. how bad will greenies yelp if they have to change plans by an hour to accomodate lsu? :hihi:

    LSU holds 92K...superdome holds 71K
which 21K won't be allowed in?

That is quite the dilemma and was mentioned earlier today. Rivals posted an article this evening stating that the stadium restored power last night and that despite damage, LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director Herb Vincent doesn't think they will have to move the game. I suppose we will know by Monday, barring any further hurricane interruption.

Yeah I was gonna post a thread about contentions for the game and whether we would consider playing at Dallas stadium.

This game won't be played in the SuperDome if this hellish storm is on it's way to Louisiana.

I don't wanna be selfish, and certainly don't want it to be because of a hurricane. However, I will say this...I WILL be at the game if it's in Dallas. I'm off 2 days a month...every other Saturday...and the N. Texas game is on my Saturday off.

I'm with ya fishhead. It would be nice to be able to see a game w/o airfare or a 10 hour drive involved!

at this point it needs to be played where ever it can be played. this season is not lookng too good so far.

can you imagine what kind of shape we would be in if the appy state game had been cancelled instead of just a change in time??? we would be in real danger of not even getting in a full season!

I hope to God this stays away. Leave us alone! We have football to play (in Baton Rouge).
