LSU pass defense ranked last in the nation!

Nick Saban must be sick to his stomach about that. This is his team and his players. What it isn't is his scheme. This is the last week Tepperlini gets to straightened things out with his scheme. If MSU racks up the yards against us the players will revolt.

 

You know you will be killed by the homers on here on how we played two top 15 teams. Is it me, but playing two quality opponents(sp) is a better indication on how our season will go instead of playing two cupcakes. Regardless, who we played it is very ugly. florida will prison rape us.

 

I really think today's game will be closer than we all expect. Vandy will give us all we want because Bo won't change. The players are complaining that he won't change. He can't change what he is doing because he doesn't know any other scheme. Get used to it. Our defense will get torched all season and Miles isn't strong enough to force Pelini into doing something different.

 

The two top 15 teams is a cop out and an excuse, thats rediculous!
We played teams just as good or better than that and had a top ten
defense in the country throughout the year.

I understand people are making excuses to give Les Miles a chance to fix
things and I hope and they succeed but we shall see.
We've been done this road before and last time it sank like the titanic
maybe this time it will work?

these are points that I have been making all week. But it doesn't matter what evidence you provide there are people on this board who are blind to reason. That being said, I sure as hell hope that something changes and Miles and Pelini get things worked out and LSU wins out (highly unlikely, I know)

Playing ASU and Tennessee might certainly be reason to see a "dip" in our defense compared to last year, but we aren't talking about a dip here. This is a total collapse. 117 out of 117????!!!???? Utterly outrageous. These players are too good and too experienced to have fallen so far. It's the coaching.

 

since you got it all figured out...why did Florida only give up 7 points to Tenn., while LSU gave up 30? It must be because we have a new coach, oh wait so do they. I mean dude LSU is LAST, not just in the SEC, in the whole country.

 

You forgot about the hurricane factor. :yelwink2: Florida and Lsu have similar talent levels with lsu with the upper hand but obviously the coaching being the difference.
