It's great article, considering who wrote it. But one thing hit me funny, the comment about wanting more, more, more national titles: which school does want more, more, more? Considering his former beat was UK basketball, I think making LSU fans sound out of line wanting this is misguided. If yUcK went 45 years without a basketball title, they'd abandon the program and probably drop the sport. We didn't do that. Making our desire to achieve championship in football on a regular basis is not of line. I see a cheap shot at LSU fans in this.
I didn't take it as a shot either. I think he was implying that it was such a long time coming, that we are craving for more of it.
You know what burns my @ss? Hemorrhoids, but that's another story.:hihi: Everytime LSU is metioned and they reference our NC in 2003 they always say LSU's share of the title. Piss off! Yet when talking about USC they never define or reference that USC only had a share of the title in 2003. They always say USC wone 2 national titles back to back but they say LSU won a share of the title. That freaking ticks me off and I'm sick of it. It is not just a handful of articles or commentators that have done it it is all of them that I've seen.
• Miles didn't win big at Oklahoma State, but before he arrived, the school had managed just one winning season in the 12 years after Barry Sanders hung up his cleats. The Cowboys were ranked in the top 25 for 15 of Miles' last 18 games at OSU. • His record against Bob Stoops and kingpin Oklahoma was a salty 2-2. (What would Mack Brown give for a .500 record against Stoops?) • He did compelling work last year revamping a throw-it-around offense into a run-first attack, showing his versatility. I love it... I love it... Gah am I excited for Sept 3
