In an effort to compare "apples to apples", here are the offensive comparisons from the "high water mark" of 2003 to today's 10-1 edition of the Tigers. Defense to follow! Good research!:thumb: All the stats look about the same from year to year. The one that surprises me the most is Turnovers/game it is down from the pass two years. Year TO/TOPG 2003 - 28/2 2004 - 25/2.08 2005 - 21/1.91
The passing stats are the most telling.. Mauck was twice the QB JR is now and Clayton was 5 times the reciever any of our wideouts are..
And that's the point. I'ts amazing to me the similarities of these 3 yrs worth of stats, from the watershed year of 2003 to the winning ugly 2005 edition,
176 less rushing attempts from 2003. We also ran 269 less offensive plays from 2003. All the other stats look pretty similar.
