Local paper here in monroe said that Skip has also been contacted by the orange bowl. It said that the orange bowl mentioned an invite depending on the outcome of the lsu ark game.

Miami would be an awesome place to visit but the Orange Bowl is a freaking dump.

 

I've heard the same about the Orange Bowl. It is by far our best shot at the BCS. Sugar doesn't really want us.

 

I don't know how fans feel about traveling to California but I'd like a shot at a Pac 10 team! :thumb:

The Rose Bowel is just up the road from San Diego.

LSU would need USC to make the NC game for us to make the Rose Bowl. With Cal losing again and Oregon losing to Arizona, USC would be the only Pac-10 team the Rose Bowl will want. So we will have to cheer for USC to make the NC game. How ironic is that.
