About a year ago I started a thread to see is if anyone living in TN would be interested in trying to get LSU license plates for their vehicles. It looks like the Nashville Alumni Association has taken the lead in trying to get these approved. They need to get commitments from 1,000 LSU fans to justify the State producing them. They have a form to fill out on their web site if any TN resident is interested.
    Thanks

Does GA have any college plates other then the in State teams? If they do, I bet you could do the same thing down there. TN has tons of them. Even :eek:lefire: , AU, UF, UGA, ALA, VA TECH, PURDUE, GA Tech, FSU and more. Hopefully we can get 1,000 people to commit to a nice looking one.

You can always move to TN!

i have a couple of the AU plates here in Georgia. I believe it may have been the Atlanta Area chapter of the Alumni Assn that got the ball rolling here. It took about 6 months to get the 1,000 order minimum, but once it reached 1,000, it shot to 2,500 pretty fast. Auburn has about 25,000 alums in the metro Atlanta area, and I was recently told that AU tag orders had topped 4,500 so far this year.

I know we have well over 1000 people in Texas that would do it. I would buy one in a second.
