Florida at Auburn will be on ESPN, that week is one of times ESPN gets first choice. CBS has used the 6 day option to select, so we won’t know until next week. Other SEC games available that day include: Ole Miss at Alabama Vanderbilt at Georgia Southeast Missouri State at Arkansas Jacksonville State at Mississippi State We’ve already met the JP requirement, so it seems very likely the Kentucky game will be on ESPN2 at night if CBS doesn’t pick it up. If we beat Florida, I think we will be on CBS at 2:30… Edit: See below, ESPN2 is off the table
I worry about one game at a time, I called a tv station in Birmingham a few minutes ago to see if they were gonna be broadcasting :helmet: game this Saturday. We will be at Talladega. He told me they would be showing our game. It appears I am gonna miss the debut of the truck race though, it is the same time as the game.
Wow, back to back CBS games for LSU? That means the odds of the LSU-Fresno St game going to ESPN in the evening just went up...which is great, since I'm going to that game.
According to the ESPN schedule, all the networks will be covering Florida at Auburn. That’s what they did for FSU – Miami, what they call Full Circle coverage. Anyway if ESPN2 is off the table, it’s CBS or TigerVision assuming we would turn down LFS (JP). http://sports.espn.go.com/espntv/espnTopics?topic=Football&watch=CollegeFootball
That’s been my understanding for years, but I couldn’t find anything from google to back up that a school is only required to play one LFS / JP game per year. This article implies that we will turn down LFS if offered in that it says LSU at Kentucky is not being considered for LFS. http://www.tuscaloosanews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=200661002011 Edit - Release from LSU: CBS or maybe TigerVision, that's it: http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=622562
The way I understand it is that they can only make youplay one home game on LF. SO Miss state was the one. If it had been LSU at Kentucky then we could have gotten bittten twice. CBS has put a 6 day hold so it's CBS or 7p.m.
