We're ahead of them by 2 thousandths. The really interesting part is that they have our schedule as tougher than usc's. Too bad everyone doesn't see it this way.
These computer polls are what we need to watch, since Jerry Palm admits this week that, if we pass SC in 6 of the 7 polls, we edge them come December 8.
Yes, it seems that, if we win the SECC game against any of the 3 contenders, we will be ahead of USC in the Anderson & Hester, Sagarin, Colley-Matrix, and Massey polls for sure at this point. This only leaves us needing to pass USC in 2 of the 3 remaining computers. The NYT poll has us at 9th with USC 3rd which proves it needs to be thrown out and burnt. So, can we pass USC in Billingsley (where we were 4th with USC 3rd last week) and Wolfe (where we were 9th with USC 4th last week)? It seems that these 2 are LSU's main roadblock, but we will know more once they come out later today.
