Had the trill of being in the endzone in Lexington when Henderson scored. Still get chills also, and I'm still telling people about what I saw, felt, and did during that miracle.
I can still remember watching the replays over and over and I cannot help but see that young man in the suit and how fast the expression on his face changed when he realized Devery scored. It was classic.
I remember it vividly myself. My brother called , an Ole Miss grad, on the phone as he was on a Ole Miss charter bus in route to Athens for their Ga game. He wanted to see what was up with our game. About that time is when Kentucky kicked the field goal to take the lead. I told him we had just lost on a FG but with a couple of sec's left. He proceeded to announce to the bus that we had just lost.........the bus erupted. We hung-up. Right when DH scored I called him back, told him and he had to make that announcement to the bus.........needless to say a ton of F bombs erupted.
