Relatively new here and don't post often, but wanted to pass on some news: The LSU gift shop next to Mike's Habitat/Cage is selling game worn jerseys from 2005 for $75 + tax. Pretty good price, especially for the quality. I was able to sneak in there and grab one a few minutes before the place closed. I'm pretty sure the gift shop is open for a few hours tomorrow (I'm guessing like 8am-noon) and they'll be back open monday at 8. Only purple jerseys, no white ones...I asked if they were gonna release white ones later, they said no. They can ship the jerseys if needed as well. As far as what numbers available, a few people beat me to it, but I'm guessing there are still about 50 or 60 numbers left. The jerseys are really tight, so if you want to wear them, you may wanna go with the higher numbers. The sizes range from 40 to maybe 48 or 50. Most of the receivers, etc wear the size 40, which might fit a 12 year old kid. I'm 5-7, 170, and the size 44 was the first one I could wear comfortably. Also, the cashier said that on monday morning, they should be getting another supply in, so if you're all about getting a #2 or #5 or #11, there's a chance they'll have some more of those. Just passing this on, figured a lot of you guys wouldn't wanna pass these up.
I don't think they are available online, but if you call this number (225-578-1336) on monday, you can order over the phone by credit card. I ordered two of them earlier today when I read about it on another board.
They usually sell last years games helmets at some point every summer. I have a friend who got one of the Gerry Dinardo experimental white helmets!
As of Saturday morning they still had a few helmets left. The helmets were $200 a piece. All of the jerseys they had left were beat to hell and looked pretty bad.
