What is worng with some of the players on the LSU football team? It seems like the football team is getting in more and more trouble or at least associated with trouble. I heard today the the cops in Jefferson parish want to speak to Chris Mitchell about a shooting at Kenny's Key West. We have RP getting in trouble with the feds and local law enforcement and another few players kicked off the team for breaking into a girls apartment and stealing her purse.

These kids should be focused on this season and winning a national championship. I just hope this isn't a trend that will continue with this team. I want to read about the team's achievements and not about the next tiger to be involved in trouble.

Then why did you start a thread about it?

Because it seems to be happening a lot lately and I am curious how other tiger fans feel about this growing problem.

Look at all the uncertainties in the post. Also, RP didn't get "In trouble" with the Feds, he was interviewed- no charges filed, so outside of what you "Heard" we have two players who were kicked off of the team for breaking in.

Since you bring it up; however, "Kids getting in trouble" is, unfortunately, widespread across the country. It seems like too many college football progarms are having to contend with this issue- these players are kids and do make bad decisions sometimes. With the internet, we hear about it whenever it happens so maybe it has always been an issue, just that we are "More aware" with the different media today, ie. youtube, football forums, etc.

I am not saying he was the shooter or involved with this incident, but the facts are that he drove the vehicle involved to the club. With his brother being behind the wheel when the cops pulled it over, it does seem he was probably hanging around the folks who did do this. I just think the players on this team need to make better decisions on who they hang out or associate with.
