    Tim Walton, a member of the coaching staff at Syracuse in 2002, has joined the LSU football staff as defensive backs coach, Nick Saban announced on Monday. This info is according to LSUSPORTS.NET

    I'm happy that they didn't hire the coach from O.P. Walker. The local professional sports talk callers up here in Knoxville were already starting to rumble about the look of "impropriety" surrounding that. Now, there's nothing to talk about.

    I wonder what those miami fans will say the reason is for losing those op walker players. I am glad this coaching thing worked out like it did.

    On WGSO in New Orleans, Lee Burkeen (sp?) who writes a high school sports and recruiting magazine, said that Saban's and OP Walker coach's relationship is very good and continues to be so. Apparently, the coach also runs at least some portion of a Saban summer footbal camp.
