It has taken them long enough. LSU's new coaches resumes were interesting reading, to say the least. There is a load of SEC-Inexperience that is notable. It's good we have a few tune-up games before SEC play. There are quite a few "rollin' stones" on the list, guess that's expected in today's game. Dunbar was the first Tiger hire in a while as any major position coach. I hope to see more Coaches with LSU roots coming our way in the future. Karl doesn't have a great coaching resume, but he'll probably compensate for that with his knowledge of SEC play & fundamentals. Plus, he'll probably be a good recruiter with recent Pro experience as a player. We shall see how the team & coaching gels this fall as spring will be kept "under wraps".

Personally I am very glad we don't have any SEC retreads on the staff. They can watch enough film do evaluate tendencies of the other teams while no one will get a great read on our tendencies with a new offensive HC blending his idea's with Jimbo and Pelini didn't have control at OU nor near the talent at NU when he was DC. Advantage LSU.
