Herbstreit and Corso made a big deal about how if LSU played USC on a "neutral" field USC would win. Well, that would have been impossible, at least this year. LSU fans would have followed their team anywhere to see them play in a NC game or in any BCS game. No matter WHERE it was played LSU fans would have made the place seem like Tiger Stadium. Certainly USC fans would never have made any stadium seem unfriendly to us--they're almost silent. One more excuse--sort of like what they said when we beat Georgia the first time.

Wasn't the Georgia Dome neutral enough?

the SECCG was ok with them

They just kept saying that we beat Georgia the first time because we had an advantage at home. They had to shut up when we won in Atlanta--but of course we know that the Georgia Dome took on a decidedly purple tone. They don't understand that no place the Tiger play for a title will be neutral--it will always be a friendly field with our fan base.
