Game is a sellout The game has officially sold out and I know LSU fans have bought our allotment. Hopefully a bunch of those public tickets went to tiger fans.
I hope so, I hate how because the Big 10 lacks a conference championship game the Big 10 teams accept bowl invitations earlier than us, giving those Iowa fans a couple of more weeks to scoop up general public tickets. I'll be there.
I have done my part! LSU told me this morning that I got 4 from them plus I picked up 10 last week from the Capital One Bowl website. Theres no way I would miss this bowl. Did I mention I live in Orlando?lol. Actually I had to pay $1400 for 2 tickets and drive a full day both ways to the Sugar Bowl last year, so this is kind of a nice change. of course, I wish we were heading down to Miami, but its been a fun year nonetheless. :lsug: :champs: lefire:
By the way Fightin Tiger - the game was one of the quickest sell out's in the bowls history according the write up. So both schools must be representing :thumb:
If someone can point me in the direction of cheap bus / group rides and/or cheap hotel rooms I'll be there. Otherwise I'll be putting up a For Sale sign as soon as the tix arrive on the 14th.
