I'm posting this on all the LSU boards........

This weekend we have the biggest series of the season in baseball. It decides whether or not we go to the sec tournament and if we will get to go to a regional. 2 years ago we brought a few hundred fans (thats a lot for a stadium that only seated 1200). I know we're not as good, but we need as many people there as we can get.

The games are on THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY........NOT sunday becuase of the sec tournament starting next week. The game is "sold out" for Friday and you can't call and get tickets from Vandy's ticket office.... so, the way to get in is to get to the stadium 2 hours before the game and buy general admission tickets or standing room only tickets. You can get tickets for the Friday game even though they say it's sold out. Let's take over the stadium like we did in 2005 and get this series :geauxtige

Great idea! I don't mean to pour cold water on this but very few tickets have been available all season long for other teams. Vandy sold out their seats to home fans just before the season started. I'm not sure what tickets are availabe. I live in Nashville and have my own season tickets to Vandy games.

Well, if I cant get tickets (which I doubt). Isn't there a little hill past the outfield where you could bring a chair and sit and watch the game? The sad thing is I have 2 vandy friends with season tickets and neither of them will give them to me even though I have given them Titans tickets and vandy baseball tickets before because I'm an LSU fan.:nope:

Better yet, go there early, set up a tailgate- cook and make sure they drink plenty, maybe they "Over-indulge" and won't be able to make it to the game in the heat and all- then you can use their tics.

Yes, there is a little hill in right field. A better place to sit and view the game is in left field between the left field fence and basketball arena next to the football stadium. It's actually a little higher and you don't have the street between you and the fence in right field. Good luck!
