It turns out Arkansas 1% can be just as bad as LSU's...

The TigerTail on this guy's van got torched again. Hopefully he'll get it fixed in time for LSU...and hopefully it will last through the weekend this time.

Classless!!! Criminal!!! Wrong!!! Put them in jail along with anyone from any school who behaves this way.

We are all very passionate about our football teams... There is no reason for this kind of behavior anywhere....

The teams compete on the field. That should be the end of it until the next year the teams meet.

Most fans are just good ole' fans who bleed the team colors and follow the team where ever they travel to experience the atmosphere and culture of their teams opponents.. especially traditional rivals...

Personally, I cannot stand the reputation that LSU fans are getting from national media because of a few jackoffs.

LSU fans never were the only ones........ :dis:

BTW, isn't this the van claimed to have been burnt to the ground?

Anyway, there is no need for this kind of stuff, but I'm sure as the story passes
around and a few years are put behind this, the story will get worse......like it was burnt to the ground.......again.

Fans should be able to travel to away games and enjoy it with the home fans as college football and tailgating should be enjoyed, in a peaceful friendly yet competitive manor. Unfortunately I have learned from experience that visiting fans are better off toning it down just a bit, it shouldn't be that way but it is. Children that can not handle their alcohol and have not learned to behave exist everywhere and can ruin everyones good time. When I go to away games I wear my LSU gear but display nothing on my vehicle and avoid groups of young drunks if at all possible. Responsible fans are the only ones that can put an end to the less responsible giving us all a black eye.

I bet it was a Tiger fan displaced by hurricane Katrina and now living in Arkysaw that killed grandma beat up the kids and burned the van to the ground, all while eating a corndog. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

I don't know why y'all get so much grief. The incident at psu 2 games ago got so little coverage, the murders at NC State very little coverage, the death of the policeman in Orlando was good for 3 or 4 lines, and a few drunks at LSU mess with folks from ut and it is more of a topic than the game during the vandy broadcast. I might see it if someone was making money off it, (like the raider image), but it sounds like standard sterotyping by lazy journalist.

I've been all over the SEC and definitely had more problems at Arky than anywhere else. Of course we always play them at Little Rock but I don't know if that matters. :dis:

You know a fan should be able to go to any school and wear his colors and have a good time. Always. But he shouldn't go to another school and show off like he is at home.

But I can't help but think that guys like the owner of the tiger tail van is pimping for trouble when he goes on the road with an ostentatious rig like that. And believe me, there are some traveling LSU rigs that are even more attention-getting. Such people are going to get vandalized by local hooligans who are incited by displays like that.
