LSU could end the season w/ a #2 ranking, right?

    Not sure how much the post season rankings help with next season's pre season rankings. Anyone read anything on where we might be ranked preseason?:geauxtige

    Preseason: I predict Top-8 if Russell and Dorsey go pro. Top 3 if they stay.

    I can go with that, but the real question is, if LSU gets a pre-season #8 ranking...who in the HECK is 1-7? I know USC is there, maybe Texas, Louisville (if Brohm stays), Florida and the regulars..but who are the others?

    Did you hear Russell after the Sugar Bowl say that he would pray about his future? Have you ever heard a player or coach say they're going to pray about their future and then still stay? He's about to become a multi-millionaire!

    You know the NFL draft is usually the highpoint for the Saints season. I figured the draft would be boring this year as the Saints will be sitting idle for the first few hours. I may have to watch the whole first round afterall. We may see several of our Tigers selected in the first few hours.

    A Bama fan in my office just told me 2 things that I wasn't aware of:

    1) JR is supposed to announce today officially whether he'll stay or go

    and

    2) Jimbo is supposed to announce that he's leaving for Bama today.

    Anyone heard any of this?

    I'm sorry. I didn't specify which rankings. You must have thought I was referring to the woman's LaCross team preseason rankings.:hihi:

    Well, of course they will be. After all, they're getting the last of the oh-so-fabulous Classens. I think that guy will be something like a 21-year-old freshman, by the way.
