Damn it if we didn't lose another close game to a good team. In our five games against solid opponents, we are averaging a 1.4 point loss. In our four close losses, we are averaging a 2.5 point loss. To quote Brady after the Ohio State loss: "It's not Christmas, it's New Year's," LSU coach John Brady said. "But maybe we gave them a game." Right on... We have a young team still, so hopefully we can eventually start winning more of these. I just wonder if next year most of these young guys will be gone, at least the better ones.
and these narrow losses dont hurt ratings like sagarin all that much, so the losses arent as damaging as they might be with respect to tourmanent bids.
