I hope Rice plays like they did the other day...I have a feeling they will be "highly motivated" to make up for that debacle of a game they had. We better have our minds right...or this could be 2 and a bbq.

I am happy we are in Omaha, and the team is still #1 in my heart...but I would like to watch them a few more times this year...if ya know what I'm saying.

    from the advocate:

"LSU’s only senior pitcher on the postseason roster, Bradford has been peppered for 16 hits and 10 earned runs, including a six-inning stint against UC Irvine when he gave up 10 hits and seven runs.

In Bradford’s last three starts, he has pitched 181/3 innings and been touched up for 30 hits and 17 earned runs. He has given up four runs or more in four of his last five starts."

lovely. What happened to this guy? He was lights out early in the season. Can we just have the bullpen start the game?

We need to jump on Rice early, if we can do that they will have flash backs of Fresno and hopefully just pack it in.

but after that assbeating they got they are gonna be fired up and if we allow them to hang around we might have a hard time closeing them out!

    Don't agree with starting Bradford...

I think we should probably start Coleman or Brown, and save Bradford for long relief or as a closer. Bradford seems better coming out the bullpen.

But thats why I'm just watching the game, and Mainieri is coaching in Omaha.
