Hmm, let's see: LSU football team is just outside of the top 10, baseball's a preseason #5, women's basketball #1. I get the feeling I'm forgetting someone, one of the major men's programs. Other very well rounded and successful sports programs like Texas and Florida don't settle for mediocrity in one of their major sports programs. Wonder why LSU does... :cuss:
High expectations for our baseball team this year..... uh.....Wait a second! It's high every year! Seriously though, we made it to EauxMaha the last two years, when no one expected us there. We're now just that much more experienced this year. :geaux: :tigbas:
tulane ranked ahead of us?! haha...thats too funny. im guessing they only did that to spice up the games b/w us & them. but by that point, they're sure to have fallen out of the top 10.
Tulane is loaded this year. We are kidding ourselves if we think they are going to be pushovers. The return just about everyone, and have recruited well the last 2 years. Not to mention they got Micah Owings from GA TECH. All American. Former 2nd rd draft pick.
and? you think we're not loaded this year? yes, we lost 2 HUGE stars...outside of that, we basically return everybody. and its fair to say we compensated w/ experience and new players. our pitching will be off the hook, no doubt. the fact is, their still poolane. they are, and always will be, green little buttholes that will never be as good at anything as LSU.
