The LSU pass defense has given up 10.4 yards per play so far. That's the number to beat. A good target number is 8.4 yards per pass. That still puts LSU near the bottom of the SEC in pass defense, but is a big improvement. aTm pass offense is only 8.2 yards per attempt, so this is doable. Let's not have any more brain farts in the secondary going forward. aTm rush defense is 3.25 yards per play vs LSU's rush offense of 3.39 yards per play. Our running backs are some of the best in the nation. Let's use them.
I've been shouting "Run the ball!" since game one. Way too many people think the only play that gains yards on offense is the forward pass.
