I have this feeling that all will fall into place and the LSU Tigers will head 70 miles east to play for all the marbles.

What an exciting season, minus Florida, that displayed the present state of Tiger football. Moreover, the future looks bold as we are relatively stocked with underclassmen and recruiting will again flourish!

Nevertheless, I believe the Florida loss was the catalyst to realizing the potential. Had we not lost to Florida...I think it would have happened eventually and at too late a phase to be in the position we are in!

Geaux Tigers and continue to take care of business!

Better to lose early and still have time to prove our mettle.

USC SOS dropped like a ton of bricks this past week.

    EIGHT SKATE & DONATE!!!!

LSU's magic number is 8 (USC's final projected point total)

Arkansas' collapse is unfortunate for LSU. It would be great if they were ranked pretty highly when we play (and beat) them!

"Collapse"? They're going to be 8-3 after this weekend. There was little to indicate back in August that Ark. would do better than a 2 or 3 loss season anyway, especially given the fact that they played Texas as a non-conference game.

In fact, we're not going to play a team with more than 3 losses the rest of the season, something nobody outside of Columbus, Ohio can say among the remaining one-loss teams.

Sorry... good point. "Collapse" is way too strong. I guess "not running the table after sneaking up on Texas" would have been more accurate. :)
